It would be fine to use the Provider ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 14" White Spoke Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR C
Item # TTWA14RWS as a spare in case of an emergency to get you home or to a tire shop. You are correct, there will be a slight difference in diameter and width when compared to your current 195/75R14 tires.
Ideally you want a tire that is the same size as a spare, especially if you think you are traveling long distances. Using a different size for more than a short distance... view full answer...
If you have a 4-way trailer wiring harness on your motorhome most likely it has already had the turn signal light circuits converted so that the 4-way would function properly. What you can do is test the 4-way with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993to verify this. I attached a video that shows how to do this.
It is possible that someone wired up a 4-way to your motorhome incorrectly though. If so, then you would need to use a converter harness like part # HM48895 to properly wire your... view full answer...

I spoke with Husky and they informed me that they do not offer a replacement control board for the Husky Brute Electric Trailer Jack part # HT87247 (HB4500). I am happy to recommend an air compressor for you. Let me say that I can relate to your issue, perhaps more than you realize. It will be extremely easy to set up and use. The power cord will go into the 12v (cigarette lighter) plug inside the vehicle. The air hose is 20' long so it will easily reach... view full answer...
The leg on your Atwood Power Jack AT80718 is not replaceable and since this jack is now discontinued by the manufacturer, the only solution is to replace it with a new jack.
For a comparable jack, my expert recommendation is the Bulldog Powered-Drive Trailer Jack # BD500188. It features the same 3,500 lb capacity as the AT80718 but offers you a 22 inch lift which is a few more (3) inches than your current jack. It has a retracted bracket height of 9-3/4 inches and will work perfectly on... view full answer...

I recommend going with the Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX for your 1996 TrailRite because it is a solid choice that meets your specs at a good price. This installs on your A-Frame and is powered by splicing into battery power whether that's directly from a battery on your trailer or if you'll have it pulling power from the 7-Way on your tow vehicle.
If you don't have a battery on your trailer or even a 7-Way installed on it either then you might be interested in the Electric... view full answer...
GM actually uses the # HM40975 as the OEM trailer connector, so that's what I'd recommend you use. The connector will plug into the socket located above the spare tire. You'll need to free the connector from the frame member and uncoil it so it will reach the rear bumper.
The truck is indeed pre-wired for a brake controller. To complete the installation, you'll need brake controller and the vehicle-specific wiring harness. I'd highly recommend the Tekonsh P3, part # 90195. The P3... view full answer...

When replacing a broken leaf spring on your trailer there are a few things to note. The most important part about a leaf spring being compatible with your trailer is that it is rated for at least the same weight capacity as your trailer axle. If it is rated lower you could overload it. A higher rated leaf spring would work but it would also make your trailer suspension stiff.
Other than weight capacity you simply need to make sure that it has the correct width, is the same style, and has... view full answer...

On your 2015 Ford F-150, we have a couple options for you to choose when wiring your vehicle up for flat towing.
